Dramaturgy & Creative Support.
Supporting artists to creatively realise their work is something I'm really passionate about and has been a key focus of my career over the last decade.
I've taken on creative development roles across plays, musicals and audio drama, with work ranging from darkly funny comedies to reimagined adaptations of classic literature to non-linear explorations of grief. What that collaboration and creative support looks like varies according to the need of each project. Artists have brought me on board at very different stages in a piece's creative journey: talking through the first flash of inspiration, joining the room for development workshops, giving feedback on a 'final' script draft.

Working with Airlock Theatre on the Aotearoa New Zealand edition of their SONAR dramaturgy initiative, mentoring 5 playwrights through early stage script development.

Working as creative associate on two development workshops of Alice Fitzgerald's play Shooting Pains.

Working as dramaturg and access support lead on Kayla Feldman's audio play Shiva.
Having worked for several years as an independent theatre producer, I can provide logistical insights as well as creative support - and if I'm not the right person to provide creative feedback on your work, I'll recommend other artists to reach out to.
